For optimal results, please carefully read the product manual before use. Start the measurement process when you see "Lo℉" displayed, and avoid touching the probe with your hands or other high-temperature objects prior to taking the reading. This ensures an accurate temperature reading.
If the measurement results seem inconsistent, it may be because the reading was taken immediately after powering up the device. In such cases, the measurement time can take up to 30 seconds or more. Be sure to start the measurement when you see "Lo℉" to get an accurate reading.
Replacing the battery is a straightforward process. Gently pull off the battery cover at the top of the thermometer, then insert a fresh 1.55 V button cell battery of the SR41, UCC392, or LR41 variety, or an equivalent, with the positive terminal facing inward.
To switch between °C and °F, while the device is off, press and hold the on/off button for approximately 3 seconds. Once you hear the "Bi" sound, immediately press the button again to toggle the temperature unit.
